Generative AI for Start-ups and Scale-ups

Join us in Glasgow for an immersive summer school dedicated to exploring the transformative potential of Generative AI for start-ups and scale-ups.

This intensive program introduces a practical, design thinking–based approach to leveraging Generative AI, offering participants a clear framework for gaining productivity advantages and driving innovation. At the heart of the course is a newly developed Generative AI Toolkit — created by leading academics and entrepreneurs — which helps participants build or reimagine AI-native ventures across all industries.

The curriculum focuses on five key areas:

  1. Understanding Generative AI and its capabilities
  2. Applying AI to product and service development
  3. Integrating AI into operations and the broader value chain
  4. Leveraging virtual agents to enhance performance
  5. Designing organizations around AI as a core capability

Throughout the program, participants will use the toolkit to design or redesign a startup or scale-up venture. The experience culminates in a final-day pitch to an expert panel, showcasing a strategy for launching a novel AI-driven venture or transforming an existing one.

Set in Glasgow — a dynamic city known for its world-class universities, collaborative tech culture, and welcoming atmosphere — the program provides a stimulating environment for learning, experimentation, and networking with peers and AI experts alike.

This summer school supports the goals of EIT Digital by promoting entrepreneurship, technological innovation, and talent development across Europe. Through experiential learning, participants gain the skills and mindset to apply advanced AI technologies in real-world business contexts — contributing to the development of a future-ready digital economy.

Join us in Glasgow to explore how Generative AI can unlock new possibilities for your startup or scale-up — and help shape the future of business innovation.
