This is a two week intensive summer school, hosted by Polytechnic University of Bari . Learners will be exposed to high-impact topics in digital industry from industrial AI applications, data interoperability, manufacturing-X/data spaces to cyber-resilience for OT and manufacturing environments. But at the same time, they are trained in venture creation methods by working in multidisciplinary teams to translate industrial challenges into deployable solution concepts.
The programme combines short expert inputs with workshops, team sprints and coached clinics, covering: customer discovery, business model design, value proposition and positioning, competitive benchmark, unit economics and funding strategy, IP valorisation pathways (licensing vs spin-off), and industrial pilot scoping. Each team produces an evidence log, benchmark matrix, unit economics snapshot, pilot canvas. The programme will conclude with a Pitch Day in front of an industry and investor jury. Learners will also receive a structured 90-day continuation roadmap, supported by follow-up checkpoints at 4 and 12 weeks.
