The Summer School is a two-week, full-time program combining entrepreneurship education, digital finance expertise and hands-on venture building. It is designed for students who aim to develop entrepreneurial solutions to real-world challenges in the financial industry.
During the first week, participants are introduced to core concepts of digital finance, innovation and entrepreneurship through expert lectures, keynote sessions and interactive workshops. Key players and decision-makers from the regional financial industry will be involved as lecturers, speakers and mentors, ensuring direct exposure to real-world challenges and decision-making processes. Topics include emerging financial technologies, market and customer analysis, business models, sustainability considerations and regulatory frameworks. The second week focuses on venture development. Participants work intensively in teams, supported by mentors from industry, startups and investment backgrounds. Feedback and coaching sessions with experts will guide teams through validation, refinement and positioning of their business ideas. The program concludes with a final pitch competition in front of an expert jury, where teams present their ventures and receive structured feedback.
The entrepreneurial mindset will be fostered by the learning environment itself. The program takes place within TechQuartier’s co-working space, home to more than 170 startups on site, where participants are immersed in an active startup ecosystem and exposed to entrepreneurship as a daily practice rather than a theoretical concept.
