Experience a transformative two-week program in Rennes, designed to equip you with the essential skills to innovate cybersecurity for dual-use AI-driven robotic systems. The Summer School: Cybersecurity for Dual-Use AIDriven Robotic Innovations is a two-week intensive programme where participants analyse cyber threats to autonomous technologies and design scalable solutions for civilian and deffence contexts.
The program follows a three-stage Venture Creation Track, where participants address cybersecurity challenges related to dual-use robotic technologies. Some of the topics addressed include: embedded system protection, AI-enabled threat detection, adversarial attacks, cyber resilience, and business modelling. The University of Rennes will provide leading cybersecurity experts, AI specialists and industry leaders as key speakers and facilitators.Through project-based work and expert mentoring, students will develop important deep-tech and entrepreneurial skills to turn these challenges into market ready innovations with real-world impact.
Prior to the Summer School, students submit an Initial Business Concept defining a cybersecurity challenge, a technical solution, and an initial value proposition, refined through expert feedback to ensure feasibility and market relevance. During the programme, they will be able to engage in interactive lectures, applied workshops, and team-based project work. Keynotes, mentoring, and iterative pitch battles will support both technological development and entrepreneurial learning. Networking and social activities, including team-building events and excursions to Mont Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo will foster collaboration. The programme will conclude with a final pitch sessions evaluated by experts and investors. High-potential projects may pursue incubation through InCube, the University of Rennes’ preincubator.
