Embark on a Journey of Innovation at the Space Tech and AI Summer School 2025, for an immersive summer course designed to empower learners to harness the transformative power of Space Tech and AI for impactful industry and societal advancements. This multidisciplinary program seamlessly integrates technology, business, and socioeconomic topics, fostering innovation and entrepreneurial skills through hands-on, challenge-based teamwork.
Over two weeks, participants will engage in business concept design, modeling, and planning, culminating in comprehensive business plans pitched to a panel of industry experts. Successful completion of the program awards 4 ECTS credits.
This Summer School is co-organized by three different types organizations:
University of Naples (University), YourscienceEDU (Start up), and Youbiquo (Business company).
This reflects a very strong business orientation of the program, which combines techno-scientific education modules on space and digital technologies with innovation and entrepreneurial training, all structured around challenge-based, business-oriented activities aimed at creating real ventures.
The program equips participants with specialized skills to drive cross-sector innovation and advance the European digital and space economy, by addressing 3 main themes:
1) Techno-Scientific Topics
Integration of Space Tech modules with AI and digital applications
- Space Tech: How Space Tech and the related fields can improve non-space business, even traditional sectors
- Computer Vision: How AI applied to vision can enhance safety and quality control
- Machine Learning: How Large Language Models can support daily office work and on-field operations
2) Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Exploration of industry trends, followed by challenge-based teamwork on business cases.
- Mentoring & Teamwork: Intensive guidance from experts and SMEs managers.
- Exploring the local industrial ecosystem: SMEs in aerospace, AI, and digital transformation.
- Engaging with stakeholders: Enterpreneurs, researchers, financiers, local institution representatives.
- Field visits & cultural experiences: Networking in Cava, a historical Italian town close to Naples
3) Sustainability & Social Impact Assessment:
Addressing both technological and entrepreneurial concerns.

From June 30th to July 11th, 2025, for an immersive summer course designed to empower Master-level students, early-stage researchers, and professionals to harness the transformative power of Space Tech and AI for impactful industry and societal advancements.
This multidisciplinary program seamlessly integrates technology, business, and socioeconomic topics, fostering innovation and entrepreneurial skills through hands-on, challenge-based teamwork.
The course is recommended for learners with a Bachelor or Master degree, there are no requirements for AI or Space tech competencies.
The Summer School takes place in Cava de’ Tirreni, near the Amalfi Coast and the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Paestum. Easily accessible via two airports (QSR, NAP), the San Giovanni complex in the city center offers classrooms and lodging for 50 participants. Home to SMEs in advanced manufacturing and a digital transformation incubator, Cava de’ Tirreni, with medieval porticos dating to 1000, creates an inspiring Mediterranean setting for innovation and sustainable venture creation.
