Unleashing the Power of Data for Better Cities
Rennes, France - SUMMER 2019 APPLICATION PERIOD CLOSED
June 30 - July 13, 2019
Within cities, predictive analytics play a role in many different domains such as citizen participation, city resilience, prevention of pollution, managing risks, public transportation and private mobility. Predictive analytics provides a way to shape data into meaningful decisions. It uses data analytics to make predictions and generate strategic, operational assets.
Public authorities and private companies can benefit from these insights and provide better services to citizens. The Summer School programme will focus on the opportunities that data analytics can create for cities, citizens, and entrepreneurs in a wide range of user applications, for example: telecommunication infrastructure, urban logistics, tourism, security or social Wi-Fi.
